Anonymous Oocyte Donor Programs
Understanding that not all patients have the same needs from an anonymous donor egg program, Virginia IVF and Andrology Center offers several different program options. Our Donor Coordinator, your physician and our financial team will work with you to help you choose the right option for you.
Single Donor Egg Cycle
When you finally choose that perfect donor and wish to be the recipient of all eggs she produces during your donor IVF cycle; this program is right for you. This option is our traditional IVF cycle but with an anonymous egg donor. Your donor will go through an IVF cycle at a time convenient to you and all eggs produced will be fertilized to create embryos to transfer or freeze as you choose.
Among our single cycle options, the Single Donor Egg Cycle will give you the best chance to have embryos to freeze. Frozen embryos can be used in a future Frozen IVF Cycle, allowing you to avoid having to go through another Donor Egg Cycle. Frozen IVF Cycles allow you the possibility of having more than one baby from the same donor.
Select Single Donor Egg Cycle
A variation of the Single Donor Egg Cycle option, the Select Single Donor Egg Cycle allows you to keep all eggs from your selected donor's IVF cycle up, to a total of 10. If more than 10 eggs are retrieved, the remaining eggs will be frozen (unfertilized) for our anonymous egg donor bank.
This option is more cost effective than the Single Donor Egg Cycle. It is also an ideal choice for patients who want to limit the possibility of freezing embryos. If you do not want to consider repeated embryo transfers and would not wish to have future children from the same donor, this option is a good choice.
Donor Egg Shared IVF Success Program
Our Donor Egg Shared IVF Success Program gives patients the peace of mind that they may have up to four donor IVF cycles; including Frozen IVF Cycles from the embryos created by those donor cycles for one flat fee. The program fee also includes embryo cryopreservation and storage fees during your participation in the program. In addition, if a baby is not taken home by the end of the program, the fee is refunded in full.
For patients who are concerned about the potential cost of multiple Donor Egg Cycles; this option is the perfect choice. With a baby or money back guarantee, you can relax and look forward to your new family. At your request, your physician will evaluate you for participation in the program.
Split Donor Egg Cycle
This program allows you to have a donor of your choice undergo a fresh donor IVF cycle and split the resulting eggs with another recipient. You and a second recipient split the donor fee and share the eggs the donor cycle produces. The anonymity of both recipients and donor are protected.
If you want a more cost-effective single IVF cycle Donor Egg option, this is the one to choose. Because many donors produce more eggs than a single recipient needs to conceive, this option still provides for a possibility that embryos may be frozen for future Frozen IVF Cycles. Patients who want a higher chance to have frozen embryos should consider the Single Donor Egg Cycle or the Split Donor Egg Shared IVF Success Program.

By splitting the eggs produced from one donor cycle with another recipient, you are able to save money which you can use toward your new family. You and a second recipient will need to agree to the same donor from a group of selected donors known to have high egg counts in previous cycles. The anonymity of both recipients and donor are protected.
