 In addition to the emotional stress of infertility, patients are also faced with the financial concerns of seeking infertility diagnosis and treatment. We understand IVF treatment is expensive. Treatments for IVF require a variety of highly trained specialists, precise and sophisticated instrumentation, and specialized supplies. In addition, the IVF process requires many hours of staff time to personally care for each patient and embryo. We, at Virginia IVF and Andrology Center, are dedicated to bringing our patients the best quality care at the most reasonable cost possible. Program Options Traditional IVF Donor Egg Programs Donor Egg Shared IVF Success Program Split Donor Egg Shared IVF Success Program Payment IVF services require payment in full prior to the start of the IVF cycle. We accept checks, money orders, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. Financing may be available through MyMedicalLoan.com or Springstone Patient Financing ( springstoneplan.com ). IVF Insurance Coverage Understanding the extent of coverage and obtaining the necessary authorizations from an insurance company can be confusing and at times, overwhelming. We strongly encourage that patients become familiar with their insurance benefits for infertility diagnosis and treatment. Your physician's financial coordinator will be able to provide you any additional information you may need during this process. Virginia IVF and Andrology Center does not participate with any insurance carriers; however, our staff will gladly file a courtesy claim to your insurance carrier. Since there is not a participating facility at which IVF can be performed within a 60-mile radius of the Richmond, Virginia area; many insurance carriers will often consider waiving any of out network penalty. Patients will continue to be financially responsible for all IVF services even if there is insurance coverage. Prepayment for services will be required.
