A Single Frozen IVF Cycle is when previously frozen embryos are thawed and transferred to a patient. The frozen embryos may have been frozen following an IVF cycle at Virginia IVF and Andrology or may be transferred from another facility. In addition, Virginia IVF and Andrology Center has donor embryos available for selection.

Single Cycle Frozen Embryo Transfer  -   $2,050

Price Includes:

  • Embryo thawing
  • Preparation of embryos
  • Embryo transfer, ultrasound-guided

Additional Costs Not Included in the Price:

  • Anesthesia (optional service) - $ 400*
  • Blastocyst culture - $ 500
  • Assisted hatching - $ 500
  • Embryo cryopreservation (refreeze of thawed embryos) - $ 400
  • Storage fee for cryopreserved embryos, per month - $ 40**
  • Embryo biopsy for Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) - $1700 to $2300
  • Fee to adopt donor embryos - $ 2,500
  • Fee to transport frozen embryos to Virginia IVF - varies

The Following Costs vary by Patient and Physician. Please contact your physician for specific prices:

  • Diagnostic testing varies
  • Lab services varies
  • Medications (approximately) $200-500
  • Physician fee (approximately) $1000-1500

*Anesthesia fees are $400-$500 for weekend services
**A discounted annual fee is available
